Simply Being - Yoga Morning Retreat
Sunday 19th May 2024, 9:30am - 12:30pm, The Retreat New Forest

Life can be so busy that we rarely have time to simply be. It can be hard to turn the noise down - we are often living in the past or future, instead of our moment-to-moment experience.
Returning to the true essence of yoga - the present moment - allows are body to relax, our system to find balance and our minds to feel calmer. This retreat morning offers the time and space to reawaken to the life in our body and return to a sense of presence, inner calm and spacious awareness.

The morning will begin with an invitation to ground – with meditation and a quiet nature walk, reconnecting to the earth and life within. A slow flowing yoga practice will awaken our senses and open the physical body. Gentle breathwork to find more ease and release. The workshop will finish with an extended deep relaxation Yoga Nidra meditation (lying comfortably), to sink into a state of easy, open awareness and inner peace. There will be opportunity for personal reflection and journalling throughout the morning.
Simply time and space for you, away from the pressures and noise of life.

9:30am – Welcome, Settling and Grounding Meditation
